I've taken the liberty of torturing myself and re-watching Bones, starting with Season One, on Netflix.
Even though I've seen just about every episode, (a few I didn't remember), I still find myself screaming at the screen "JUST KISS HER ALREADY!" to Booth and Bones. Ever since the first few episodes, you KNEW there was chemistry. They avoid it and play it off like it's nothing. The other characters KNOW something is up. Many of them encourage Bones to get with Booth.
But then people also say that if they hook-up that it would be the end of the show. WHY would it have to be? The ending of last season, they were so close to giving it a shot. I almost wanted to hate Bones and Booth a little bit for not kissing at the airport. UGH! It really drives me crazy! Even I feel the tension! How ridiculous is that?
As soon as I started re-watching the episodes, I would automatically notice the tension between them. Ugh, it's so HOT!
Well, since you compared the Maximum Ride book to Twilight but said they're better, I'll have to check them out now. I actually did like the first two Twilight books, but the overexposure and eventual crappiness totally turned me off.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how one teacher can really change you, whether it be good or bad. For instance, my freshmen English teacher convinced me that I can't write...at all. I always thought English was my strongest subject, and I left that class totally crushed. Then my teacher last year reassured me that I wasn't terrible. She was the best teacher I've ever had, and not just because she showered me with compliments. I liked her style of teaching. She made me understand things ten times better than any other English teacher ever had.
I actually can't stand Bones. I used to fall asleep while I was watching The Office on Fox and would wake up to that. I guess it's just not my kind of show. The only shows I ever watch on the basic channels are comedies and reality shows. I can never get into crime shows or dramas.
